Phonak – just another day in Paradise

The new Paradise hearing aids from Phonak build on the Marvel platform, introducing some excellent improvements.

The Marvel was the first hearing aid with universal Bluetooth connectivity. In the Paradise you’ll find advances in not only Bluetooth technology but upgrades in speech enhancement and sound processing.

Introducing Audéo Paradise tap feature

Let’s start with the Bluetooth developments – it all happens with a tap. The Paradise allows you to answer phone calls, stream music and activate Siri or Google or Alexa with just a tap. The Audéo Paradise has a motion sensor allowing a simple touch on your hearing aid to guide your connectivity options. The streaming facility is direct from all iOS and Android devices, with an in-built microphone allowing for authentic ‘hands-free’ calls in stereo. If you have a Bluetooth enabled TV, you can stream directly without an intermediary device. And, like the Marvel, the Paradise is ‘Roger Ready’ for any of these remote microphone accessories.

The Paradise also utilises the myPhonak smartphone app. Here you can control and personalise your listening. You can also connect to your Audiologist remotely for telecare services, getting hearing aid adjustments as required.

No Paradise lost

The Audéo Paradise has the excellent sound quality expected in all Phonak devices. The technology in this hearing aid aims to balance audibility, loudness and sound quality, for natural hearing in all environments. The Speech Enhancer has a soft-level speech boost to ensure no communication is lost in amongst the noise.

Coupled with the Motion Sensor, your hearing aid microphones will detect if you’re moving or stationary and how much noise is present in your soundscape.

The Dynamic Noise Cancellation then gives you more personalisation of the hearing aid for spatial noise optimisation.

You can adjust this in the myPhonak app – just determine the noise cancellation that suits you best, in real-time situations.

These new Phonak devices can come with a lithium-ion rechargeable battery, designed to last six years. You’ll get a full day’s power with a single three-hour charge.

If you use Telecoil technology, you can still have the rechargeable option. The Audéo Paradise hearing aids also have an IP68 moisture protection rating – giving you peace of mind with a hearing aid that is robust and durable.

It seems the new offering from Phonak is well-named – a hearing aid giving you everything you need to optimise your communication. No matter where you are, you’ll be hearing in Paradise.
